About Me

- To all those who see this message, greetings. Besides a passion for model building I’m a former Naval Aviator, E-2C Hawkeyes and C-2 Greyhounds, and I also flew T-34's, T-2C's, TA-4J's and T-44's. Born and raised in Central New York, I spent four years in the Army back in the late 70’s as an Airborne Infantryman stationed at Ft Lewis Washington, with the Second Ranger Batt. In 1985 I received a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Oswego and I am one of the few actually using a degree in Political Science as a career. I’m currently employed in the US Intelligence Community as a regional/country analyst. I reside in Central North Carolina with my daughter. Other passions aside from my family include long range rifle shooting, reloading, deer hunting in North Carolina New York and anywhere else I can get a hunting license. F-4 build in 2002
F-4J, this model was painted and finished twice as the paint job was destroyed by packaging material during a move. The first squadron was VF-84 and when I removed that paint job I refinished in its current colors, VF-21. Part of the 1/48th scale gallery.
P-3 Orion
This model was built for a good friend and great commanding officer in 1991 who flew this aircraft in the fleet. The model is the Hasegawa 1/72nd scale P-3 Orion with after market decals for VP-31. It was mounted as in flight on finished white oak with a night horizon painted in the background and a setting moon. Affixed to an acrylic rod, 9/16’ in diameter, it is designed to be displayed as a wall mount.
